What are you thoughts as to why Trump told the GOP to vote for the release? Have they scrubbed his name from the files, or is he certain that the DOJ will claim "on going investigation?"

I guess the question is whether it is going to allow the GOP to save face, saying “I voted to release “ or if people will get that it is a complete fucking game.
