Are there any norms in the Age of Trump? As an outsider (Canadian) it looks to me like part of the Democrat’s problem, at least in the short term, is reluctance to break “the rules”. The GOP is tossing all of them in the trash.

The Liberals need to be willing to actively and aggressively call out Pollievre on his blatant lies. They should also constantly point out how he blocks most attempts to improve the lives of Canadians.

That’s why I’m considering moving everything into GICs. I might lose out on some market gains but I would like to reduce the possibility of losing most of my retirement savings. Nobody knows what might happen if the tariffs are implemented, but I don’t think they will be positive.

I am not confident that the stock markets like Trump.
