Did you actually read it or are you just pretending based on the movies? Because there's a pretty significant narrative that happens after the world-ending threat is done, which isn't just goodbyes and gifts and isn't in the movie.

22 is a “new” book. Current adults didn’t read them in school because they didn’t exist yet. The ones you’re trying to make people think of - Brave New World, 1984, etc. - are more like 80 years old.
