I think Musk's twitter takeover plays a bigger role in this than most people think.
Musk unbanned Fuentes and other antisemitic influencers and allowed them to grow their platform to sizes that weren't possible under the previous leadership. They can now be openly bigoted and face no consequences.

These guys are all obsessed with a very specific style of writing. I’m not sure exactly how to describe it but everything you’ve shared by the Dort guy is an example.

I’ll concede that no one has ever been deplatformed if your definition of deplatforming is total banishment from the internet.
You can’t build a following if you’re jumping to increasingly obscure platforms every month. Deplatforming did work to some extent.

You’re just wrong. Nick Fuentes was banned from visa payment processing and every major social platform until Elon Musk’s X unbanned him and Rumble gave him a platform. His recent massive growth would not have happened half a decade ago.

GTA IV is definitely the odd one out in terms of characters and tone, but V definitely takes it up a notch. Nothing in the PS2 era was as deeply annoying and juvenile as Trevor and the Juggalo character in V.
