They bring themselves up by putting others down. You surely have experienced this more in life than I have as a white male in this country. Some of the smartest people I have ever met are immigrants. They have to work 10x as hard for the same outcomes. That pays dividends that don’t come easy.

I had a neighbor like that in my old home. A professor at CU Boulder and her wife that was training their daughter and people in the neighborhood to hate. They focus so much on stopping hate that they know all about it and just simply rationalize it away their participation more succinctly.
