More than 90% of the palm oil entering North America is certified sustainable by RSPO. Brands are not required to label if the palm oil they use is sustainable, though we wish they would, to make it easier for consumers to make the right choice.

Most palmitic acid comes from meat and dairy products, and olive oil is a larger contributor than palm oil itself.
The human body also creates it from other substances. The average 70kg has several kg of the stuff whether or not they consume palm oil.

Consumed in moderation as part of a balanced diet, palm oil poses no significant health risks.

Because palm oil is catastrophic to orangutans & their forest home, we believe addressing this issue is critical for their survival.
