i got the flu/covid vac combo yesterday and i was fine for the majority of the day but at midnight the side effects hit me like a fucking truck and i was stuck on the couch the majority of the night because i simply could not move.

idk what it is but playing original hollow knight gives me a headache, akin to how i feel when a game is giving me motion sickness. i suspect its how the camera is moving but i have no proof, nor are there any mods i can find to change how the camera works either

ive been yelling at people to stop using spotify as early as 2013, your favs are getting less than a penny per stream. the average digital album is anywhere from $5 - $20 on bandcamp and its yours forever. financially for both you and the musician it just makes sense for you to not use spotify.

this is not an attempt to wield some type of superiority over people, but ive literally never used a music streaming service. im proof that you can listen to a lot of music and discover more things to listen to without spotify AND i know for a fact i am more directly supporting musicians i like.

i got a DAP (digital audio player, the modern mp3 player) and im gonna try see how i like it and report back. i've been living solely off of music i buy off of bandcamp and youtube mixes for over 10 years at this point so the real only change is that i can now use the aux cord in my car lmao
