YT recommendations can lead down some interesting rabbit holes. Like YT suggested a BL comp to me because I watched scenes from an old anime I saw as a kid that was apparently light BL and I didn't pick up on that when I was little. Now I'm a Fujoshi. Send help.

Trying to rationalize the demonstrable harm CA mgmt perpetrated against its contributors by falsely equating it to a divorce is a reductive mischaracterization of everything, especially when you're willfully ignorant of that harm because you liked the mediocre content the mgmt produced.

The Initiative process is in our state Constitution and I'm not saying it will be easy, but I think now is the time for us to amend our Constitution to make it where the General Assembly, Governor, & Judiciary cannot overturn any ballot initiative and only the electorate can amend the Constitution.

Good thing only Congress can declare war, and as much of a boot licker that Johnson is, there's a slim enough margin in the House and R senators with a sense of preservation that they won't get the votes on that, even if Johnson and the MAGA Caucus really, really wanted it.

Possibly, but the R majority is so slim, it only takes a few Rs and the Dems to reach the 218 majority threshold, so a few dumb/petty Rs are enough to throe a wrench in things, which is what happened with Gaetz and McCarthy and could easily happen to Johnson.

Okay there's one burning question I've always been curious about bc TV is inconsistent. Regarding Federal felony charges & arrests, can federal agents arrest someone on a felony charge without a grand jury indictment or do they need that true bill to do the thing?

Firstly, Twitter/X has always been a niche platform, secondly, anecdotal convos and dubious sources are a far cry from empirical data, thirdly, disparaging leftists is both not an argument & hypocritical, fourthly, reds on X operate in bad faith, & finally none of this validates platforming fascism.
