“Above all, we couldn't do our job at the ADPC if it weren't for people in recovery,” ADPC Director Annaliese Dolph said, on the power of advocacy. “If you ever think it's not worth telling your story, your path to recovery, I can guarantee you it's making a difference.”

“Changes in Medicaid are going to impact us all,” Rep. Shannon Jones Isadore said. The question now, she said, is “how we continue to do this work, in spite of. We’re going to still be in the work… It’s going to give us the opportunity to get creative, and maybe do something bigger and better.”

However, Rep. Sanchez says, “We are determined to make sure we put ourselves in a place where we can continue funding core services.”
