It has much more patient for them and wont flag their question as not good enough or duplicate of a question from 12 year ago.

Technology is changing all the time. a question that has been answered 10 year ago is not much relevant today.

The reason that there are much less question there today is not because people totally stopped asking. it is because they go other places to ask (like reddit)
