Because I came from an Evangelical home, my humanism and secular moral system are very important to me as I had to build my own. I will never be for the targeting of civilians anywhere. Basic human rights apply to literally every fucking human being.
Apply that wherever it applies.
War crimes bad.

As someone who grew up on Sega consoles I miss the crazy stuff like the 2 player co-op version of Syndicate and the wacky inventiveness of games like Alien Soldier. Newgrounds flash games did scratch that itch for a bit, but these days 😕 I mean there's only so much Mario Kart anyone can take, right?

Giving me flashbacks to Comix Zone on the Mega Drive 🤣

Every photo I take is done practically with very little digital work, using household items to create special effects like cotton wool for fire & foil for water. Each set is meticulously set up for just the one scene then dismantled so I can set up another scene.

Thanks for helping me keep going.

I mean do things even *exist* if there isn't a funko pop of them? Turning all creative endeavour into mass produced soulless tat until plastic chokes the entire planet is surely the way we all want to go right?

Go moustache or go home 🤣

Seriously though I think you're spot on but maybe some of the seed stuff is a bit samey. I'd definitely put another vote in for Aerial as it has a very feminine vibe which really stands out from the rest.

Bridge to Terabithia gave me flashbacks to My Girl, definitely struck that same note as far a trauma goes - showing my age a bit there though 😁
I agree though, too many movies use doggos for a cheap pull on our heart-strings. Maybe they should give some other pets a chance for a change?

May the right fire burn within me.
There is hatred all around me.
But i wont let it win.
I can fight for what I love,
more than against what I hate.

Yeah, you really need to be in a stable state of mind to cope with something like this:
A scene from the movie 'Pom Poko'. The tanuki are falling from the sky with massively enlarged scrotal sacks as a means of attack

What's a movie you weren't prepared to be devastated by?

Got to be Grave of the Fireflies, a beautiful bit of cinema but an absolute gut-punch too. Might be the best litmus test I've ever seen for the presence of an actual soul within the viewer 💔
Movie poster for 'Grave of the Fireflies'. Features a young boy carrying his little sister through war-torn Japan.

I've said this before. Don't feel like a nerd or a saddo. Missing out on stuff as a kid or being told to grow up can do more mental harm than people give credit for. Buy that stupid toy off eBay, even if you give it away at a charity shop after. Complete your life.

the healthy way of dealing with this is to go to toy fairs and buy whatever it is you feel you missed out on
