And my two adult nephews (in their 20’s) struggle to read cursive. I saw an ad recently on Facebook asking for people who could read cursive on old documents to “ translate” it.

This reminds me so much of a Finnish children’s book. It’s called “Mr. King”. Beautiful illustrations.

Thanks so much!! I almost took the kit back the next day. But a friend who works in a quilt & knitting store on the Oregon coast texted me: “Remember things always seem harder before you sit down and really figure them out and then they're dead easy.”
So I feel strong & will take it step by step!

Yup! The building is charming. And they have a super collection of fabric.

They don’t have hardly any Civil War genre fabric but there is always something to get the creative juices flowing. Absolutely love this place.
