This showdown won't go anywhere, just like the one before. First of all, ICE will still operate while the government is shutdown. Second, GOP won't budge because they know Dems will cave soon after SNAP benefits run out when they have to choose between ICE or people starving.

I wonder how it's going to work. If they show ads before each gaming session then it's not bad. If they pause your session to show you ads like it's a video streaming service then that would be unplayable.

Who cares about cable in 2026? People who grew up with the Internet are in their mid-late 40s now. The buyout and control of social media is much more troubling going forward.
