People on here caught it of course, and the person is being dunked on to high hell. I just see stuff like this elsewhere with less educated audiences, and the defense of posts written with this (not very) sly framing works on a lot of folk. Don't let them get away with it!

This is what was removed by the author. I don't usually do dunk posts. The reason I'm doing so now is to highlight how the poor reading comprehension of the general public is used against it to position ideas in a way that seems reasonable and less violent.

I hate to say it but the majority of the country is not going to die on the hill of trans rights. We can’t protect ANY groups if we can’t win a national election, so purity tests only serve to make specific groups feel triumphant. That’s not “erasing” them; it’s long-horizon strategy.
