Because that's what the Trump administration wants. They think that if you're too poor to afford food or healthcare that you should just die. Parents who can't afford to feed their kids will get their kids funneled into the foster care system and those kids will go on to fill prisons

What the fuck do they mean kids weren't sick??? Cholera and typhoid were like the biggest killers of children at one point! kids were dying of diabetes before insulin was invented! Like, hello? Pneumonia? Measels? Teberculosis? POLIO???? Did boomers just forget these things happened??
