The last time I had infinity loop was in React 16, so I'm the exception. But doing as I added in the image is unintuitive to many developers. Maybe, we should have a hook for that. (Sometimes there is more logic than just "upstream value" change)

I don't get this comparison. I test my code in the **browser** with Vitest. Bun and Jest neither do this

@en-js.bsky.social I found many cases at work that there were problems of not preparing optimized deps to useEffect. I wonder if it's something you've found as a problem as well, or not so much?
