So when you tip your servers keep that in mind. For me, if you tip 15% of your bill, I only get 9%. If you do not tip, I still pay that 6% no matter what.

Servers have to give a portion of their tips to the kitchen and bartender. I have worked at places that take 2% of sales and another that was 13%. Currently, I pay out 6% of sales.
