ooo it really really rubs me wronger & wronger the more i think about the ending like all this woman does her whole life is suffer and then when she's turning her life around and finally vindicated she immediately dies off screen after saving her son & ex. she didn't get to experience any of it!!!

finished this month's book club read and i need to get this off my chest before i forget oooooo writing a really complex and flawed female main character and then having her die pointlessly off screen at the end of the book can you hear me im in your walls

I've been holding off posting these on other social media for reasons not known even to myself but what the hell, miu upon thee. She's a part of a superhero setting my friend created. She's basically a corporate mascot genetically engineered to be the perfect hero/advertisement.
