Memory is hazy now, don’t remember the name or even if it had one. Late 80s, Limerick, a cafe with a wooden front painted a very definite kind of Kelly green, maybe on Ellen Street. Chairs with rush seating. Breakfast just about affordable. Interior fragrant & warm. Ideal for a frozen student.

Someone I knew used bookmark their book by tearing out the already read pages. I never had to refuse to lend her books as she knew I was a bit ‘precious’ about mine.

The Abbey was the first cinema I ever went to as a child. I was possibly too young for Jesus Christ Superstar but my slightly older friend was sent with her two mid-to-late older teenage sisters as some sort of chaperone so our mothers sent me too.

My mother did that. She’d say the gift I’d just got her was so nice / so expensive / so my colour that I should have it. Not easy to shop for yourself & her too just in case she did decide to keep it.

My fault entirely. Difference of interpretation, I’m really not trying to argue. I probably need to do a bit of research as I didn’t think half sister would be the term for Vicki & Sharon’s relationship.

Really not trying to be awkward or argumentative but half siblings share a parent. Sharon & Zack do so they are half siblings. Dennis & Vicki also do so are also half siblings but Sharon is not a blood relative.

Dennis & Sharon were married but not related to each other. Neither are she & Vicki. Sharon & Zack have the same paternity.

Paywall so haven’t read the article but based on the headline, it could be me. I love churches, hymns, ceremony, candles, singing & belonging. But I dont want them every week. I’m not a bad person nor do I need to be preached at. Maybe if I feel a Christmas welcome, it might encourage more.

Edge of the seat times are past, I think. Too many spoilers released particularly in this era which make watching almost redundant. Anyway, the stories barely support suspense.
