Sorry if I misinterpreted your post. That certainly makes more sense to me, for sure. The reactionary diatribes can sometimes do more harm than good. Especially now.

I think what’s important is being more careful about what to be externally outspoken/outraged about. I know it’s a bit of a fine line, because your spider metaphor nails it pretty hard on the head, but I also believe a lot of harm comes from keeping quiet about things to a degree.

I partly agree with you, Kole, and understand where you’re coming from. However, I don’t fully agree with staying quiet about it. That, in and of itself is a sign of defeat to those opposing forces hungry for it. I think a lot of people feel exhausted by screaming for human rights and human decency.
