'A Clockwork Orange' by Anthony Burgess is the most banned back in American schools during the 2024-2025 school year.

First published in 1962, it is a dystopian satire and has been acclaimed and celebrated for decades. It was named one of the best books of all time by Time Magazine in 2010.
