A 2023 BBC investigation revealed a toxic culture of sexual assault, harassment, and racism at McDonald’s UK.
Despite the CEO's promises of reform, the situation worsens.

How many NDAs were used to silence victims and bury misconduct?

We need some accountability.

2025: closer than ever to our goal!

In 3 years, we’ve:
✅ Banned NDAs in harassment cases in Ireland
✅ Protected victims’ voices with the Victims & Prisoners Act
✅ Sparked action from the SRA & Bar Council

There is still work to do, but 2025 is our year for lasting change! 💪✨ #CantBuyMySilence

Congrats to the new owners of the Observer for losing slightly less money than they did last year.

Tortoise Media's 2023 accounts have just been published & they lost *only* £3.8m on £6m revenue this year (compared to £4.6m on £6.2m) last year.

Shandies all round!

🎄 Wrapping up 2024 with this spot-on Private Eye cartoon! 😁

Huge thanks to everyone who supported us - shared, testified, donated, or just followed along.
2025 is huge - the employment rights bill could enshrine a worker's right to speak!

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and peaceful break! 🎅🌟

Speaking up is a human right - a path to justice & change.
But NDAs silence victims of abuse & discrimination.

As the UK Employment Rights Bill is debated, we remind MPs: NDAs restrict the right to speak. Pass the amendment to stop this injustice.

NEW: Here’s just one of many many reasons why the Scott Trust’s decision to rush through a sale of the Observer on the day of a historic strike is in such bad faith.

They claim the bidders aren’t credible because they won’t disclose their identities. But that’s not true.
