I think I might have gotten it. I just toggled every video setting one by one until one got rid of the lines so hopefully they're gone forever

I should probably invest in a retro handheld console thing but I got one several years ago that's kind of ass to actually play and while I know they must be better now I'm still a bit wary since you can't really try one beforehand

I've done runs with poison, ice, and bug before this so I'll probably eventually do everything but dragon just to say I've done it. I'm thinking rock or fire next, but it'll be a few months before that happens so who could say what I'll be feeling then

I was thinking Electabuzz would be my physical backup mon but apparently Raichu has more attack? That feels wrong to me. Also Magnemite has more special than Raichu so I guess stats are just fake

Currently I'm doing electric types only and the thunderbolt TM is going to Electrode because I really just wanted to do an Electrode run but I know that it's abysmal as a solo and I'm a weenie, which means surely submission Raichu sitting in the back for rocks will make things easier somehow

Also I know that making me learn the onyomi is important since I def don't know most of them but I think there should be at least one example word that uses it instead of the kunyomi when they're teaching you. I get that you're supposed to use the mnemonics but having a real example really helps me

Having to do every number as a radical and then every number as a kanji and then every number つ is a little mind numbing. I just got my first # 日 so I'm guessing that number hell is going to continue for the foreseeable future

People who had preview copies tried to assure everyone that quick recast wouldn't make the game too easy but I've got to say: it absolutely with no ambiguity makes the game dramatically easier
