So ist Shatner. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they don't know that.

I think everyone is allowed to be horrified at this. I certainly am, and my entire connection to Ireland is one three-day visit to Cork two years ago.

That "recipe" somehow got worse with every word, until the last one spins it off into a singularity of terribleness. Yikes.

Initial Fantasy.

The name of that Reddit user in the last picture makes me unreasonably cross. Captain Calhoun would kick your sorry ass seven ways to Sunday, you narrow-minded gobshite.

Right. You've quoted that post eight different times, never stating anything beyond that. Unless you have something of actual substance to contribute, kindly STFD STFU and go hug a Pinthi.

I feel seen (as someone whose first impulse upon acquiring a new computer is immediately re-installing Alpha Centauri and Master of Orion 2).

I've seen this misunderstanding before, especially when talking to American Riichi mahjong players. 😆

No.

Sorry for being blunt, but UB being powercrept against UW is, if it's happening, going so slow as to be unnoticeable. There are currently 10 cards banned in Standard. How many of those are UB? One. 1 single one. Modern? 1. Commander? 0. There are a billion issues with UB. This isn't one.

"A better rate than red usually gets?" Act of Treason has the same MV as this card, and it lets you attack with its target. And that's not considering a positive deluge of "Act of Treason, but with upside" cards printed in recent sets. I agree that this is cool for non-Rakdos black decks, though.

Very little "became" about that, from what I know about Jerry Doyle. The stories JMS and others have told about even the early days of B5 have such lovely quotes as "politically slightly to the right of Genghis Khan", and that's coming from sympathetic sources.

My immediate thoughts were Firefly and Babylon 5.

Probably the same mofo who invented Alice Weidel. (If you're not familiar with the name, be glad.)

He's not "my guy". I'm not American. And yes, of course the Reps could attack Obama a thousand ways, but they long to pin something like this on him. Don't tell me to let go of him - tell the political right in your country, who can't even let go of Clinton (who's been out of office for 25 years).

He was also president, and the Republicans desperately want to have a go at him, but can't in this specific situation. Why are you asking this in such a passive-aggressive fashion, exactly?

From his only album to go #1 in my country, one of three top 20 hits he had here. Also, one of my favourite songs, period. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hakX...

This is from March 2024. I get pointing this out, lest it gets forgotten, but "detected" kind of implies that it hasn't been public info for nearly two years.

Yeah, enough of this. Go back to the echo chamber on that other site, maybe the bots will be marginally nicer to you. STFD STFU and go serve dinner to a Phamysht.

The online Lemmings community (yes, that's a thing) did away with the level timers except when strictly necessary for a level (which is surprisingly rare). Unusually generous of a community that otherwise seems to pride itself on making levels as hard as possible.

True. Rational cost-benefit analysis would indicate AI isn't worth it, but "rational" isn't always a characteristic that applies to these kinds of decisions.
December 21, 2025 at 12:01 AM
The thing with that second option is, working harder kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it? AI is the lazy option - having to do more work to disguise it, while still risking having it exposed somewhere down the line, runs counter to that laziness, I feel.

Note: I'm not a native speaker, so this might come from a slightly lower level, so to speak.

That said:
Vulnerable, from the Roxette song of that name.
Lemon in the sense of something not working as it should, as well as defective, from Meat Loaf's Life Is a Lemon and I Want My Money Back.

A screen adaptation of the book I've always known as Glenkill? Interesting.
