Citybus Hong Kong #1575 [MAN NL262/R] seen parked up in Helensville.

Imported in 2005, it is now preserved by me and two friends.

Restoration has already begun, and is subject to time/money.

Today's historic pic: QR diesel 1625 hauls a narrow gauge ballast train through Cairns, Qld, July 25 1986. The 1955 station building seen here was demolished in 1996 to make way for Cairns Central shopping centre. Today's passenger station is just to the right, beneath that 1996 shopping centre.
Looking down from an overbridge onto a large railway yard with numerous narrow gauge tracks fanning out into a yard in front of a 1950s-era cream brick railway station building. A ballast train hauled by a hood style diesel locomotive in light blue and white livery is headed towards us.

A 1954 Kenworth CC522 seen at the Kenworth 100 event in 2024. It was imported in late 2023(?) and is now the oldest KW here, beating the LW-848/849 by two decades.

My mission the other day was to spot the very first ADL Enviro100EV in Aotearoa.

After an embarrassing number of tries I succeeded!

MoTaT's International ACCO C1800 on display at The Cloud during the 150th anniversary of fire-fighting in Auckland.

New to Auckland City brigade, it spent its entire service life in the Auckland area.

It was the first appliance to have a high-pressure fog hose and electronic sirens.

Spotted on a test run was Ritchies Transport #7023 [CRRC eT12 MAX].

It will be based out of their new Wairau Valley depot and is part of an order of 100+ for North and South Auckland.

This appears to be the first one with a rego and fleet number.
