Two rescuers and two animals were inside the van. All survived, but the injured dog needed veterinary care.

This is the second direct strike on UAnimals vehicles this year - another rescue van was hit in February.

She wanted to name her baby boy Nazar. So her family honored Tetiana's wish.

Nazar has now been discharged from the hospital. His aunt, Oksana, who will care for him, will take him to live in Ivano-Frankivsk.

His dad, Vadym, is still recovering from the attack.
