Just finished the "Fractured Void" by Tim Pratt, the Twilight Imperium tie-in novel. I wasn't a huge fan, and that might be partially because it feels very similar to the unpublished first novel I wrote.

Last night I finished a draft for a short sci-fi story about AI. For fun, I asked Gemini to analyze some of its themes. It was doing pretty well until I asked it this question. Hmm.

New Years Cruise!

4 miles with no ham-string pain!

I pulled my hamstring this past summer, and I've been slowly trying to recover. Today was the first day in a while where I've been able to run past 3 miles without feeling completely destroyed afterwards!

It'll be a bigger challenge to get back up to 13 miles, but this is a good first step.
