Yep. Same stuff growing up in Toledo in the 60s/70s. Then in Indy for years seeing the same. Sad as the Big Auto culture could have coexisted w/good public transportation but not enough traction c/b obtained from government leaders. (There’s a decent paper there for someone…)

Former Chicagoland resident. Interesting to see where these teeny peener Dudes are pulling this stuff. Fully soft targets in stable hoods. Avoiding where there are some gang/violence issues cuz going there would get a bunch of them dead.

This might be the worst ICE video yet, because it’s literally random dudes hanging around, and then a bunch of heavily armed thugs running them down completely out of nowhere, because they’re brown. It’s a nightmare that would have seemed excessive in Jim Crow. Everyone in America should see this.

Not a lawyer but spouse is a senior Paralegal and my guess w/b it’s an attempt to chill further protest activity by the person. “If the Judge says okay we’ll hold this over your head in case you want to exercise your rights later.”

Dude’s lawyer needs to say, “Nope.”
