#inkvent2025 Day 25 is Myrrh the Merrier! This final ink is a very nice sheen and shimmer combo! I think the longer shape of the bottle made it hard to get shimmer on my short dip pen, but it's a pretty light blue that goes nicely with the blue ink and red sheen. A lovely end to a fun calendar!

#inkvent2025 Day 24 is Antler! Here's one last pigment ink. I was surprised, because the ink went down as a very rich brown, but after it dried, it had become much lighter. Still, brown is a versatile ink color, so I like this inclusion. I just might pick up a pen for pigment inks after all!

#inkvent2025 Day 23 is Let it Snow! Now this is a chameleon ink with shimmer I can see, at least in person. I like the base turquoise color, but the shimmer is a bit similar, so it doesn't show up well in the photo. But in person I think it looks like... well, snow!

#inkvent2025 Day 22 is Pineapple Spritz! This is a pigment chameleon ink, but I can't really make out the yellow shimmer on top of a yellow ink... It's a nice color, but it's very hard to read, even after letting it dry for a while. Unfortunately, it's not very practical, but I like the idea.

It reminds me of Lights on Broadway by Ferris Wheel Press! I've stopped getting FWP inks for multiple reasons, but I did like that color, so I'm pleased with Gala : )

#inkvent2025 Day 21 is Chaos! It might seem like this is just the extreme sheen version of Day 2's Energy, but the base purple actually leans more red than Energy's. I'm not against having two similar inks like this in one year, but I did have to do a double-take when I first saw it!

#inkvent2025 Day 20 is Ambience! This is a nice pinkish orange with some pretty pink and gold shimmer. I like the brightness of the base color and the variety that comes from the shading, and the shimmer is a nice accent to it all. This is another fun one!

#inkvent2025 Day 19 is Overcast! I'm very pleased with the number and variety of standard inks this year! Overcast seems like it may be illegible when used in a small enough nib, but it has lovely shading and shows off its unique blue-green-gray color when a lot of ink is on the page. I like it!

#inkvent2025 Day 18 is Laurel! I had to really use up the ink on my dip pen to start to see the base color under the sheen. It's reminiscent of Velvet Emerald, which was my favorite ink from a few years ago! But it can be tough to tell with how intense the red sheen is.

#inkvent2025 Day 17 is Gala! This lovely gentle purple looks a bit more subdued in person than in the picture I took, but it's still highly legible. It reminds me of an older ink I used to love, so I'm happy to have a new alternative to it!

#inkvent2025 Day 16 is Ruby Taffeta! Wow, I love this rich red with green-ish gold-ish shimmer! I had a lot of fun working with this ink, and I can think of a lot of projects this could be good for. It's classy, it's got pizzazz, and it's just a nice red overall. I'll be reaching for this again!

#inkvent2025 Day 15 is Frostbite! It's another deep blue with red sheen... but this one has shimmer! ...Kind of! Actually, I can barely see it in the bottle, and I can only somewhat see it on the page. It is nice, but it isn't going to be my blue of choice any time soon.

#inkvent2025 Day 14 is Mittens! Here's another pigment ink, and like Carousel, it writes very smoothly and consistently. It's also another legible pink/magenta, which I always appreciate. It's simple, but it works!

#inktober2025 Day 13 is Molten Basalt! The bottle says it's a "standard" ink, but it's one with a lot of sheen. The ink itself ranges from pale to deep blue, but the sheen can make the deeper shade less visible. The sheen is an interesting reddish-gold, which was fun to see develop on the page.

#inktober2025 Day 12 is Bubbly! This ink is probably illegible in most pens, but with enough ink (and especially with the shimmer) it's striking! I really enjoyed using this with my dip pen. It's not an ink I'd want a full bottle of, but I'm very glad to have this small sample to work with.

#inkvent2025 Day 11 is Brrr!! I had a hard time making out the blue shimmer in this one, even in person. It's another pigment ink and it writes nicely, but not as smoothly as Carousel. Perhaps it's because of the shimmer? Still, it's a nice blue, and there's a tiny hint of sheen in some places, too.

#inktober2025 Day 10 is Nostalgia! I thought this ink would be purple, and it kind of looks like it thanks to its red-ish/gold-ish shimmer, but without the shimmer it's actually a nice brown. In person, the shimmer is a lot more vibrant and noticeable than in the picture I took. This is a nice one!
