(2/10) Basically, the current draft of the National Defense Authorization Act making its way through Congress contains a provision to roll back the safety improvements made after the DCA mid-air and make the situation as bad as it was on Jan. 29.

I honestly dunno either, both my original Google account and my new one (that I use for YouTube) got age restricted because of Google's wack AI so jury's out on what constitutes being an adult to them

I am not going to use these systems to "verify" my age, because the ONLY reason I could see them wanting me to click accept on this is because they need my permission to collect additional information on me. Again: They have my bank account information and real name and age.

By the way this is what pops up if you click verify age. Using my real ID, taking a selfie so their fuckass software can tell me how old I am, using my bank, and using this fuckass website "VerifyMe" to stalk my email. There is no reason I should have to opt into this- they HAVE This information.

I used these as examples because they're stupidly obvious, but the real issue with genAI is that it is going to give unearned confidence for species that frankly, cannot be identified through photos alone. Many sedges and willows, plus huge categories like insects, mushrooms and lichen.

Alternate ending. Yes these are both photos I took and the computer vision failed to offer "Canada goose" or "mallard duck" for these two photos. I can only assume that is because these two are so common the computer vision has some sort of very narrow parameters for them or something?
