I know exactly how you feel, for me it's hard not to see unfinished stuff sitting around as a personal failure. I've found that if I just set one small goal for myself and only focus on that, it helps me feel less overwhelmed and it feels good to see progress being made.

I still have an 8 Plus and on my 3rd battery... My carrier gave it to me for free because the 6S I had at the time was about to be incompatible with the network 😂
