Beautiful. They have some of his work at MoMA. If I remember correctly a large number of his works were destroyed in his Berlin studio during WW2.

The Call of Cthulhu one-shot I wrote set in Roman Britain circa AD168 has turned into a mini campaign, a trilogy of investigations. I'll be running the first part, The Harrows Scar Horror, at Furnace this Saturday evening. 😊

I remember reading the novel when I was at high school. There's a description near the start of the book, concerning the night swimmer realising what's going on that is particularly chilling.

My mum was an infectious diseases nurse in the 60s/70s and ended up with ME/CFS for quite a few years when I was in primary school. No-one believed her, it really affected her mental health. She had to give up nursing, which she really missed.

The two times I remember my uncle Alan babysitting, the first time we watched Jaws, the second time we watched Alien. The opening scene in Jaws (the swimmer screaming) gave me nightmares and Alan got bollocked off my mum. Both films are now firm favourites of mine. 😆

This map is for the second of three scenarios based in this region during AD168. The final one takes the investigators all the way up to the Forth end of the wall. Hoping to publish them via the Miskatonic Repository. 😊

No worries, always happy to talk about process. The map is hand drawn to start with (after tracing coastline and rivers as it's based on a real location). Then scanned in and cleaned up in Affinity Photo, printed and inked, scanned in again to add labels, textures etc. Here's the original sketch. 😊
