Oxford East MP Anneliese Dodds is urging residents to feed in to @cherwellcouncil.bsky.social consultation on the proposed new OUFC at Kidlington Triangle. The new stadium would create around 1,000 jobs and add £32m a year to the local economy, say the club.

The reason for the delay is a bit more nuanced. The club submitted additional documents in April - not least making a case for the land to be designated "grey belt" under the new planning framework. Cherwell need time to review this thoroughly AND allow for additional consultation.
