ADVENT Devotional – Day 18

Mary’s faith was etched deep enough to withstand rejection, loss, and misunderstanding. When faith is easy, words flow freely. When obedience is costly, belief is tested. Mary surrendered everything to God’s promise—and the world remembers her still. Selah.

Mary accepted God’s call knowing it would bring shame, not applause. Faith does not always explain the how, but it trusts the Who. God still makes the impossible possible—and He never leaves us alone. 🙏🏾

ADVENT Devotional – Day 15

Childlessness is not a sign of sin. Many faithful servants of God waited and trusted him.

Some are blessed with children through birth. Others are blessed in different ways, including adoption or freedom to serve.

God is sovereign. Be patient and pray. 🙏🏾

ADVENT Devotional – Day 14

God revealed himself through his written Word, and then revealed himself fully in Jesus—the Word made flesh.

In Christ, God came among humanity to be seen, heard, and known. God’s Word is no longer abstract, but made real.

ADVENT Devotional – Day 13

God sent Jesus so we could be adopted into God’s family.

Jesus redeemed us and made us joint heirs with him. His inheritance does not diminish when it is shared.

“To all who received him, he gave the right to become children of God.” — John 1:12

Is Jesus both God and Man?

Jesus is fully God and fully human. Scripture testifies to both truths, and the early church boldly affirmed them in the Nicene Creed.

God may speak through dreams, but we must test every message. Compare it with Scripture and pray for insight. If it doesn’t align with God’s Word, then the dream wasn’t from Him. God’s voice never contradicts His truth, and His guidance always brings peace. 🙏🏾

We look to leaders to guide us, yet humankind often fails. God never does. We must know Him and His Word for ourselves. This walk is personal, and no one can follow God on our behalf. 🙏🏾

Bethlehem reminds us that no beginning is too small for God to use. Jesus came through a humble village and a lineage marked by rejection, yet His purpose reshaped the world. God looks not at status but at the life we live, the character we grow, and the faith we walk out each day.

Immanuel, God with Us.
God’s deliverance may not arrive when we expect, yet His promise stands. Each sunrise reminds me that Jesus enters the world anew, driving out darkness with His light and offering me another chance. 🙏🏾

Jesus once found refuge in Africa, and today faith rises there again as America drifts spiritually. This moment calls us to look back to mother Africa for clarity and renewal. Returning to the source restores purpose. Africa guarded the Christ child and may guard faith again.
