The billions are not going to the insurance companies. They are barely profitable. They are the ones paying the inflated bills.

When the hospital sends the bills? who receives the payments? The hospital.

Who does the hospital pay? The hospital owners, the drug makers and device makers.

Power gets shared, and when you aren’t willing to compromise to keep the government open, you have to take responsibility for the result.

Democrats are acting like spoiled children who didn’t get their way. This is not how the system was intended to work - because this clearly doesn’t work at all.

The interest alone on the US debt is up to a $T.

That’s one of the biggest reasons Trump is pushing to lower the fed rate because we’re borderline drowning here.

Once rates go down spending will probably just go back up again sadly.

Not a great answer I know.

DOGE tried, but had to fight tooth and claw for every dollar. Apparently cutting any government spending will lead to harassment and personal attacks - “racist! fascist! Nazi!”

They still cut a few hundred billion at least.

Sales are increasing in several European countries.

Used ones aren’t selling? The prices seem to be holding up quite well vs all other EVs so that doesn’t quite make sense.

None of it matters too much anyway if Tesla succeeds in physical autonomy.

If you think they won’t, we wait and see.

The left wants to spend much more in their CR budget bill than the right and that has the government shut down.

There haven’t been any major mergers that I’m aware of since the Republicans were elected back into the majority.

So…yeah.

They can’t negotiate. They have no ground to stand on. The time for negotiation has lapsed.

There are no banned books in the US.

The abortion issue is and may always be controversial. Vote accordingly on that one I guess. For now it’s available still, might have to travel depending on your state.

Western corps need to compete with China, Russia and India, not so much each other, but having no monopolies is still helpful here.

The rich pay the taxes, if you cut the taxes, the rich still pay the taxes. The poor are net spenders of taxes.

The right is for smaller gov than the left.

If a country loses its political, military and economic power globally, it becomes a submissive to bigger influences.

Obviously China is the most likely alternative for global dominance.

The Democrats are doing the “I’m taking my ball and going home” play.

Everyone loses until I get my way. It’s foolish and will lose them more votes in the long run.

How is this not the Democrats fault for potential delays in payments?

Republicans won the house and senate, they have a CR ready to go. All Democrats have to do is sign. Boom troops paid.

(They will be paid, guaranteed, and there are multiple routes for 0% interest loans also to cover the gap)
