That's a shame.

I'm actually surprised that my Switch, which I got on launch day all those years back and got a ton of playtime still works flawlessly.
I nearly got an OLED model, but couldn't justify the purchase at the time, so I held out until the Switch 2 released.

To be honest, it's the perfect excuse to buy one. 😅

I'm loving mine btw, despite mainly playing Switch 1 games on it since most releases are key cards, so I'll only buy those digital version when they are super cheap.

Donkey Kong is incredibly fun btw.

That really is a weird one.
I've had that before as well, but I don't remember which game it was.
I'm not even sure how it resolved itself.

One thing I can think about is to check for data corruption in the system menu.

Yeah, it might just be that its time is up, I'm afraid...

Just looked it up, a hard reboot in indeed holding the power button on the system itself down for at least 15 seconds.

That's a very strange thing to happen.
I had some weird connectivity issue years ago that I only was able to fix by completely shutting down the system.
I think by holding down the power button for like 10 or 15 seconds.

I got another €10 coupon so I eluded it to get Luigi’s Mansion 2 for just €35.
That felt too good to pass up. 😊

And I also grabbed two boxes of gel pens to use for my Japanese writing.
They definitely need some getting used to but I’m liking how it’s evolving already.
