What better way to replace them than to use prison labor? Prisoners are also given pennies on the dollar. Not only are ICE raids happening all over the country, but homeless encampments have long been targeted for simply existing. It's easy to force the "undesirables" into prison and thus slavery

Immigrants are exploited for cheap labor in America, especially in the agricultural industry, under threat of deportation. They are expendable because they dont have many other options, especially if they're undocumented. As they've become the target of white supremacy their labor needs replaced.

According to the 13th amendment, prison labor is the only remaining legal form of slave labor and America has a long history of using that little loophole to it's advantage, especially in the south. It's why black people have historically gone to prison at higher rates than any other races.

Homelessness is criminalized and treatment centers, homeless shelters, and all other critical resources to care for these people are substantially underfunded. When Trump sent the national guard into DC to combat "crime and homelessness" he offered 2 solutions: go to a shelter or go to jail

The president is using hunger as a weapon to strip tens of millions of people from (relatively) affordable Healthcare. The funding was already approved but Trump wants people to starve to prove a point so he isn't allocating any funding.
