Poland and Romania have begun deploying the US-made Merops anti-drone system, already tested in Ukraine, AP writes. Compact enough to fit in a pickup, Merops can detect and neutralize drones even under signal-jamming conditions. NATO aims to eventually line its entire eastern flank with the system.

Significant, if true (although 500 Shaheds in October means roughly 17/day, when Russia launches hundreds of them daily sometimes)
