Reading "Careless People" by Sarah Wynn-Williams and it makes me despise 1) Meta and 2) our entire socio-economic structure even more than I did.
It's like we elevate the sociopaths to the highest, most influential positions we can, and they just ruin everything for everyone but themselves.

Just like rigged elections, I can't tell if these people are just super ignorant but also super confident or if they're really this insidious, conniving and cruel.
