My wife had an appointment in Kirriemuir yesterday, the birthplace of Bon Scott. So obviously I had to visit his statue.
JM Barrie was also born in Kirriemuir, but I will save that for my next visit.

Yesterday someone said to me, "I expect as a teacher you have to do a lot of work in your holidays."
Well, since I stepped down from leadership, took on a new post at a school that looks after their staff, no.
I now get all my holidays. There is a better way.

Just had the best birthday ever. Returned to work after surgery to a cake, gift, and a wonderful welcome back from the young people and staff.
Came home to lovely, thoughtful presents from friends and family.
Feeling very lucky.
