I was not involved in the creation of Starfinder 2e, and @paizo.com didn't have to send me a copy. They certainly didn't have to send me a deluxe edition.

There is LOTS of time for some Dem who isn't terrible on homeless and trans issues to step up.
The fact Newsome can hire a savvy social media team don't mean he's the ultimate answer. His making Trump look like an idiot can work for whoever eventually gets the Dem nomination.

Valdrevr are wicked spirits of bogs, barrows, and battlefields that can possess very sick mortals with the mortal's permission. The mortal is healed, but in stormy weather the Valdrevr takes over and becomes a spider-headed wolfman, spreading lies, disease, & poison to sicken more mortals

And the players that DIDN'T get those rewards are also happy, because the rewards don't make the PCs in question more powerful most of them time, but is a huge help for the whole party when they face underwater or mixed water/and encounters, scouting, wreck recovery, and so on.

I just did a special reward for two play6ers in my "Against the Gruin" game set in a river delta. They saved a water nymph, and she gave them underwater breathing and natural swim speeds, AND a water mastery that makes their attacks work as well in water as in air.
They're happy.

Specifically 'splat' book because they were softcover books in a line with a hardback core rulebook. That made them cheaper to produce, allowing books with smaller audiences to still make a profit. But when dropped on a table, they tended to make a 'splat' noise.
