Into my 12th season writing and talking about cycling, mostly women’s professional racing.
Ride bikes, play drums, love beer, have family.
Come on James, 'what an immature wanker is a more apposite description.

It is interesting. I don't like writing them because they're a little too easy, but of course, people want to hear (read) the interviewee's voice.

This is a brilliant piece, and like you, I care very much, selfishly in one way, but more so because people count, care counts and craft counts.

It's not, but it may be put online at a later stage. That's not something I can influence, sorry.

Very much so. If you know Lizzie's dad send him my regards, I always enjoyed our chats at races.

I also got to had a very impressive and very heavy trophy.

I'm supposed to be working and you post that.
Just pure perfection.

I heard Nick bring interviewed yesterday and apparently the residents are terrified. You could hear Naga Munchetty desperately straining to not say, "what the fuck are you talking about?"

That's a big one.
A small one is I can buy German drum sticks, but they're made of American Hickory.
Most drum skins are made in either American or China, what do I do?
Apple stuff? We're forced to fund them.

I have no intention of visiting. Possibly ever.
And I try to limit the American goods I buy. It was also part of the reason I left my job at Amazon.

Both talking total bollocks.

He's lying again.
It's so exasperating.

I was nine when it came out and remember identifying with the wide-eyed joy it speaks of but not getting the rest of it. Then I got it and loved it even more.
Other than playing songs in my band, it's the first Christmas song I've heard this year. Perfect.
He rerecorded it but I can't find it now.

I love that song but neither my daughters or my wife quite get it. I'll listen now.
December 8, 2025 at 6:25 PM
At least I can put it as a business expense.
December 8, 2025 at 3:30 PM
Drama indeed, and the possibility of us cycling fans having our subscriptions messed with again.
We started out paying something like £30 a year - maybe more - that went to £6 a month and since WBD closed Eurosport in the UK and put it all on TNT & Discovery+ it's now £30.99 per month.

You're not wrong there either...
