Yeah I think in general people coming from material privilege need to be pulled down a little, and hang out with the more marginalised of us before they can have any idea of what it's like for the general trans person. Rich and famous people are too far removed to be any kind of spokesperson

As someone who works full-time and also does a lot of volunteering and community work it's hard to not burn out on it, because your passion is in the volunteering so you spend energy that you might not have.
But at the same time what gives me energy is being with my community
