Balloon Fiesta here in Albuquerque this week. Up at 3am to get to the balloon park, stand in enormous lines, get a cup of coffee, breakfast burrito, stand around in the cold, wait for the balloons to go up. All totally worth it. Playing with some images taken during a trip to the Oregon Coast in April. I really liked how this tree draped in moss contrasted with the dark green firs behind it. The black and white rendering works well I think to really bring that out. #photography #nature #blackandwhite #pnw #oregon

I love the desert, especially the mornings. Don’t let anyone tell you there is no color here. Embudito Canyon drains off the Sandia Mountains and hosts a sea of cactus, and other flora and fauna and the geology is pretty spectacular as well. #photography #landscapes #nature #newmexico #southwest

Met this little guy while out taking pictures… poor man’s ‘macro’ shot with a tamron 150-500 @ 400mm from a few feet a way (on a Sony a6700 so about 600mm in 35mm equivalent), this is a slight crop of the original, lopped off a bit on the right side. #photography #naturephotography #macro
