I just saw an article from the WSJ about "able-bodied passengers gaming the system" of disability accommodations at airports. They're 100% trying to do the same thing they did with welfare in the 80s and 90s: find or make up someone abusing the system and getting people mad enough to get rid of it

And saying "but the economy" won't stop them. They're fanatics who understand what getting rid of that many people would do and they're fine with it. Better a broken, backwards nation that's "pure" than a wealthy, powerful, and respected one that has "them" in it.
