I prefer the earlier WWII demolition, when Olive Gibb's cousin persuaded a sympathetic Canadian tank crew to drive through it! Different explanations exist online (official report obviously had to be fixed) but Olive, and another cousin who worked at Trinity College, were both sure of it.

You could probably add Bretton Woods to that, given the current breakdown in international economic cooperation. See also the 'ancient woodland' that would be destroyed by building a new Oxpens cycle & pedestrian bridge. It's on the old Gas Works site!

Could it be a tech obsessed Elon Musk fanboy who misunderstands 'God Save the King'? Current Us side is certainly far from Aryan, apart from a Pole & Belgian. Maybe the floodlight was shining right in his eyes?

I'm still amused that her surname has several meanings, both of them unpleasant. One could add another verb usage in her honour, as in: 'They really trussed up their economy'.

Luton's inferior goal difference means they'll probably need 6 pts from the last 3 to overtake, even if Oxford lose all 4. Derby's form was looking best of the bottom sides, and now they're more vulnerable. Impossible to tell for sure if it's good news for us until a few more games are played...

Hard to believe, but getting a puncture and having to walk the bike home with a dodgy knee and foot (got back at 11:30) was only the second worst bit of the evening! Also lost the reading glasses that were broken earlier. At least it wasn't raining!

To experience the late push towards mid-table glory! After those Brocky Arsenal free kicks there must be a 'Special Fired Rice' headline somewhere. 7:15 Tonight?

Have realised why so many points are needed for safety this season. We're 7 points closer to Middlesborough/Bristol C (5&6th) than they are to Leeds - a few games ago that gap would have been even greater. Those ex-Prem League clubs (except Luton) are usually crushing most opposition- but not today!
