🔎What did we find?
🔴 Carotid artery stenting and surgery have similar long-term protective affects against stroke
🔴 Both protect against ipsilateral stroke (where symptoms occur on the same side as the stroke)
🔴 Risk of death or disabling stroke 30 days after either procedure was about 1%
