What I love about Midwest Emo is, in America, it’s a Fall thing. Going into your nest for winter. But where I’m from, Down Under, it’s the misfit transition to Summer! Going to parks, skate bowls, the beach, stealing a beer from your dad’s shed fridge and drinking it with mates on a red afternoon.
