That ain’t right. I’ve seen similar moves before surrounding estate matters and being petty or outright thieves is far from uncommon.

Would seem so. No expert but seems to me that not having penetrations thru the slab and having to fire-stop around piping would be a savings. Plus, open floor deck is available for electric & comm stuff.

Well, a lot of that work in commercial is off a lift but still the same equation in terms of efficiency. You gotta work overhead, get material up there, suspend things with hangars, etc.
