I won't be adding anything beneficial to this platform. This is where I put my book reports and other thoughts so I don't annoy my wife.
Finished Everything is Tuberculosis. Informative and hopeful. 4/5.
DNF'ed Lapvona on page 162. Too bleak and disturbing for my sensibilities.

Read absolutely nothing and haven't written or journaled for a couple weeks. Filled that time with fabric crafts, depression naps, and doctors appointments.

Picked up a couple books from a local secondhand bookstore tho.

Current Read: Sociopath by Patric Gagne.
💭 Uncertain validity of stories based upon writing style that changes mid act. I.e. the cat in Virginia scene (which was horrifying and made me squeamish), but overall interesting theories and subject matter.

Haven't read anything for a bit. Resting for the coming week in the floral business. Shout out to naps and electrolytes.

I hope, plead, beg, maybe even... pray (lest I be too forthcoming) for another last dinner party song, or even album. Nay I jest, unless...

Finished Stranger in the Woods by Michael Finkel on Friday(1/17/25). The chapters regarding Knight's camp were the most enthralling, and I loved Finkel's description of his burglaries. Overall, a good book for stoking the imagination even if it revives the call of the wild we all ignore. 4/5.
